iadpre-season training
For Pre-season IAD™ prepares athletes by developing a six week training program. The difference between an average athlete and a great athlete is their abilities to reproduce a maximal effort to peak for the upcoming season.
Recommending that your training include:
Olympic Lifting, Core Strength, & Dynamic Flexibility Training
Olympic lifting develops the explosive power needed in all power sports
Power – Maximal strength speed for optimal power production.
Active Flexion Drills/PNF stretching & Self Soft Tissue – Foam Rolling

* Progressive Overload: Placing greater than normal demands on exercising musculature to enhance muscle strength gains

Speed Development
* Technique analysis: Fundamental perfection of sprint speed & Form observation; Posture & Position cues
* Sprint Performance Evolution: Stride Length & Stride Frequency Development
* Sport Specific Endurance: Sport specific distances & Percentage running at adjusted times for speed increases
Agility Training
* Coordination: Footwork drills (agility ladder work)

In order to develop speed in an athlete their run technique, ability to coordinate, speed strength, and range of motion, are fundamental needs that require training to evolve maximal sprinting performance.
